PLUS, a special, FREE Resource Guide for fat people who are having difficulty finding things they need in their sizes, fat-positive books, BBW self-esteem, BBW personals/dating, and many other suggestions for learning to live happily as a fat person in our fat-hating society. 

The website is designed, and maintained by Betsy (a supersize BBW) to improve the self-
esteem of fat people, fight fat discrimination, and promote size-acceptance.

Pinky and the Brain Excerpt

Pinky and the Brain is a TV cartoon about two lab mice. In one episode,
they decide they're going to move the earth, and Brain realizes it's too heavy.

Brain: "How're we going to get the earth to lose weight?"

Pinky: "I know! We can get everyone to go on a diet!"

Brain: "Diets don't work."

Pinky: "Not even if you call them 'A Whole New Way of Eating?'"

Brain: "No."

Venus of Willendorf

The Venus of Willendorf was sculpted approximately 25,000 years ago.
It is one of the earlier works of art ever discovered.

Carl Jung considered her the archetype of The Great Mother.  He wrote,
"Her pendulous breast can nourish all comers. She swells with abundance --
she promises fulfillment of need (Jung, 1969, p.26).
